Remote support via secure connection
Double First has a secure facility that enables its support staff to connect to your computer if requested to assist via a ticket logged on our Support Centre.

Is it Secure?
Using SSL (a Digital Security Certificate) for secure connectivity, Double First staff will attempt to gain access to your computer. As they do, a pop-up message will appear on your screen asking if you want to allow or deny access.
Since it is up to you to grant access, and SSL is in operation, you can be assured of a secure connection, completely at your control, on a session by session basis.
What's the Procedure?
Double First Support will give you a six-digit number valid for the next 20 minutes. If connection is not established within this time frame, another number will have to be obtained.
The first time you use this facility, a small applet will need to be downloaded before communication commences.
When the connection is terminated, the number cannot be re-used.
