Double First appoints regional manager
Double First is delighted to announce the appointment of Charles Mutinda to its wholly owned Double First Asia operation. He will serve as regional manager and will work with the increasing numbers of schools using Engage across the Asia Pacific region.
Charles' career in IT spans over 20 years and he has been living, studying and working in Asia since 2005. He holds a degree in Computer Science (UK) and an MBA (US/China). His experience includes programming, web development, training, IT systems management, project management and resource management.
He has also worked in a number of industries and has been engaged within the field of education for the past four years. Most recently Charles worked within a school group that operates Engage. He will report into Implementation Manager Mike Taylor, who is a regular visitor to the Double First Asia region.
"This latest appointment reinforces Double First's commitment to the Asia Pacific region," explains Group Managing Director Barry Anns. Charles boosts our presence and we now have three experienced people working on support, training and implementation for Double First Asia within the timezone. You cannot deliver a clearer signal that we are a committed investor in the success of our current and future customers across the region, each of whom requires an appropriate response to national and local education requirements."
Charles commenced his duties this week with visits to Double First schools in Malaysia.
